Also, this.

If I have to be traumatized, so do all of you. Muahaha.

That weird guy who likes to say onomatopoeia of everything he hears around him and nothing else, the aptly named Onomatopoeia, has just busted the Joker out of Arkham... Joker takes his briefcase full of money the wrong way.

So my question is; what would have happened to bullseye-face if he'd actually tried that? The Joker is unarmed, but... well, he's him, so that doesn't always mean anything. I have difficulty thinking it would just turn into the stuff of a creepy slash fic, but... well. Since he also mentioned wanting "to one day murder Batman and defile his carcass sexually" I think Kevin Smith is trying to tell us something.

I have loved every inch of his panels, every single word, his EVERYTHING. Kevin Smith is PERFECT to write Batman stuff. Jesus Christ, what a brilliant writer! He makes Grant Morrison look like... well, just really bad. It's embarrassing that Grant is giving us this RIP shit and Kevin has written some of the best work I've seen since Grant hopped on (excluding Denny's recent work) two years ago.

He's definitely great; ever since Green Arrow: Quiver I've been sold. :D

I think it's because he can throw in humor with character development that isn't just tragedy/angst. A good plot doesn't hurt, either.

I've been, uh... putting off reading most of RIP, really. There's still enough coming out that doesn't have anything to do with it that I can pretend.

I am very surprised. What if it had been Batman he said that to?

Most likely, and then Bruce would want a shower, a very hot shower to wash away the thought.

I'm sure a certain Kryptonian would love to help Bruce wash away all those nasty thoughts. XD

Mm, yes he would. Though he'd probably joke about it later on.

Oh man, the look on his face in the penultimate panel. And in the antipenultimate panel. And, okay, throughout the whole thing.t

It's first-class brain-breaking material all right. The world needs to see. XD

My end-of-series opinion didn't really change with that; I was expecting she might live and all that, and prepared accordingly. It did feel pretty rushed, too; Linda coming back, the kids getting abducted, then the rescue kinda crammed together. I was glad everyone lived, but I'm still irritated that the series is ending with Wally retiring (for like the upteenth time) and it happening just short of the 250 mark. A milestone it should have been able to get to, on principal.

I guess I just don't buy Wally's quitting after all this time. All those years of character development evolved his sense of responsibility on a large scale, and he's been in a uniform since he was 10; an abrupt decision to give it up, again, just rings false with me.

Still, I'm looking forward to what's going to happen next in the grand scheme of Flashy-ness.

You dont buy it?

Me neither.

It just like you said, all those years of hard work for the writers (Waid and Johns were excellent!) and great art in general, and now they're stopping Wally. At the ugly number of 247. Just because Barry's generation couldnt let him go. And i have nothing against Barry, honest, its just that its a boring character for me, in comparison to Wally, or Jay. Or even Bart.

If there was a time when i think Wally could have quitted and i would have shrugged and said "it makes sense" was when Zoom killed his twins (who btw, dont even look alike right now) But if that didnt stop him (nor did Linda wanted him to) why this would? Because Linda got seriously hurted? The girl was even erase from everyone's memories once!

But oh well.Barry's going to be back as the main Flash, and all i can hope for is that they dont treat Wally like they treated Kyle, who was an awesome character...

I'll end my rant here, dont want you having a headache from reading,if you did read all of it! I'll go read that kyle/wally fic of yours now.
