Okay, so I totally meant to post this back when X-Men Origins: Wolverine was an in thing to bitch about. I suppose that's gotten old, but what about a weird pre-movie appearance of Barakkapool? Kinda?

It all began with time-travel hijinks, as many an awesome story in my world tends to.



Bob and Deadpool go through a Flash-comic-like reality blender.. and what do we see?

Claws!





I'm going to state the obvious here by mentioning that Bob's wife sucks, and not in that fun bedroom way.

Anyway, this strangely made me feel a little better about putting myself through a viewing of that heap of garbage. I totally missed this when I first got the issue in '07, too. Sure, it's not quite the same, but still. Claws and angry-face.

Posting questions here because one of you is most likely to know and maybe like me doesn't give a dang about spoilers.

Go there and:
1. JLA 20 ("naked" hyperlink) part shows that scene with Wally in the shower being accosted by one Blob that really needs to be told it's not nice to invade someone else's personal space. What WAS that about, anyway?

2. JLA 20 last pic. The 'ell? Is that some sort of amalgram Nightwing and Flash? He looks African, sports a shirt kind of like Dick's, but has usurped Wally's belt lightning. That's gotta be some sort of legal infringement there. The tasteful waist level lighting accessory is WALLY'S, damnit! Who is this jerk and why does he have WALLY'S belt motif?

Eh, maybe..but I'll forgive them for making me think of Wally dealing with an alien Flash Uniform out for his bod. (As if it wouldn't already have his body just by being The Flash Uniform. Nice daydream material.

I'll take your word for it though.

What do you think of the proposed movie with Geoff Jones at the helm? I wish it were Waid...and hope it stars more Wally than Barry (poor blonde lug, but Wally fan here.)

No idea how serious this uh... place, is. But that panel has nothing to do with the lame Deadpool of X-men Origins: Wolverine...

It's not even a curious coincidence... Just a Deadpool with Wolverine's claws.
