Also, Doctor Who (which I will not breathe a word about, because I could, but that part hasn't aired in the US yet) and ship novels. If it starts out with a diagram of a frigate I'm in. (And I didn't realize they called that a Spanker. Huh.)
Anyway, yeah. I've been doing more yakking my head off about comics than reading them or writing anything substantial (but that's not new). I haven't even dipped into this past week's stuff yet! For shame.
But, I have been a little. Specifically, Casanova. I originally thought it'd be a nifty frilly shirt laden sexual romp through Venice, but no; it's just as awesome, though.
It pushes my time-travel buttons, my snark buttons, and my omgwtfizgoinon buttons. Along with random French. It's sometimes hard to read in the good way like that. I won't admit to the appeal of Casanova being a lot like a more morally ambiguous tenth Doctor, no siree.
Also, with a word like "super-espionage" it has to be good.
