shankieSo if you saw those scans of Action Comics #593 and were wondering just how the heck Clark and Barda ended up all mind-whammied and having porno-sex by Sleez, or just have always wanted to see Barda as a dancing girl, you're in luck!
We start with Barda walking through Metropolis; she's just wandered into the Suicide Slums, and is not impressed. After much comparison to Apokolips, she's accosted by a pimp who likes her style. She's not impressed with that, either. Or with the purse-snatcher who runs off with her mega-rod.
Don't piss off Barda. Seriously.
Turns out Sleez is down in the sewers. He goes on for a while about how he's been thrown out of Apokolips and is trying to make something of himself. Then lives up to his name. Good thing Clark shows up! Right?
Barda's still not right in the head from Sleez's mind manipulation. So when Clark stops her from killing the little turd, she responds... aggressively.
