Scott versus Darkseid, Part One
Aug. 20th, 2006 04:13 pmBecause of the Scott love being at an all-time high... and Darklactus. XD
Mister Miracle #20 & #21.
Much of the plot for the now-restarted 1977 run of Mister Miracle was all about Scott's conflict with Darkseid; if you remember the trade of sons between Highfather and Darkseid, Orion was one half, and Scott was the other. Not only did this make him a god, it made him the son of both worlds.
But Scott is an escape artist; and he wasn't about to get trapped in or between either one, even when Barda's brainwashed by Granny Goodness, and is currently catatonic. No way to get her out of it. Scott comes up with the craziest plan yet to try and snap her out of it, while taking a jab at his supposed father; attack Apoloklips. With showbiz.

Was that or was that not totally awesome? Is Scott not the biggest ham in the DCU? Who else puts their name in the sky with fireworks and strikes a pose, in front of Darkseid, on APOKOLIPS? Yeah, that's right. Mister Miracle.
