So it's being posted here there and everywhere now, but I didn't know that when I scanned these just now at home, so I'm putting them up anyway. :p

(And reposted because the LJ scrambled the comments for some reaason. So my luck right now.)

Sitting in my car, waiting for my roommates in the grocery store parking lot, I read this, and enjoyed this way more than the vast majority of my sub list recently.

I think the not-Deadpool put it best when he called it Brokeback Titanic. XD

But seriuosly, Deadpool as the Earth 2 verson of Deathstroke? Brilliant.

Remember these guys? Never thought I'd see them again.

Is that not the slashiest thing published in recent history? I think they'd have to accidentally make out to put more sexual tension in there.

between you and scans_daily I have read this about six times now. Each.

Clearly I must own this. I should be packing right now! I should not beg the boy to stop by the comics store! But... it might sell out!

(reads it again)

...wow.

Only Superman could get away with manhandling Batman. The lucky dog.

I haven't come across the Deadpool character before? What is his relationship with Slade? Or is there one? Am I just being dense?

This is Deadpool (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deadpool_(comics)) - one of the awesomest characters in Marvel Comics, but originally he was just a Deathstroke/Slade rip-off by the infamous Rob Liefeld. Man didn't even bother thinking up a different name. :P

WOW! Thanks so much.

Hmmm. So Weapon X appears once again. And Deadpool has the same regenerative capabilities.

I don't know him that well, but his dark humor and tongue-in-cheek antics are entertaining. X3

Thank you for explaining everything for me!

No problem.

And try dropping by at Scans_daily (http://community.livejournal.com/scans_daily/) if you wanna read more about Deadpool. (http://community.livejournal.com/scans_daily/tag/deadpool) Most of his good comics have been excerpted there. :D

I'm thinking it might sell out, actually. I mean... it's made out of like, gold-pressed latinum. XD

This is the comic that gives me hope that all is not lost within comicdom. I think I have it memorized by now. I bought it the other day and am actually going to take it into work to make my boss read it, although he won't squee over the slashiness. :D So much love.
