To back up my ranting... XD

Animal Man #9. J'onn comes to visit Buddy; JLI syndrome is infectious. Mirror Master just trashed Buddy's house, and the Justice League Europe is picking up the tab for cleanup. And so nicely demonstrates how absurd lasers and all that fantasy-tech really are.










Aren't they great? Isn't that totally a Batman reference? XD





I love the little whooshy-art thing. They're flying out of the panel!






What Buddy needs to talk about is his powers, and how they're totally futzed because of DC crossover event stuff. Gene bomb thing. ::shrug::

J'onn is made of awesome.

I only first read Morrison's run on Animal Man a few months ago and I still haven't been able to shake it out of my head. They are some of the best comic books I have read. Ever.

I know, right? I'd just gotten done reading a bunch of crappy, crappy books (because I like to torment myself like that) just before I read it for the first time, so yeah. Blown away.

I read it, and was like being reminded of why I like comics in the first place. XD
