He definitely is. With the whole cape-and-suit, it's like 'Oh, he's *Superman*, he's not gonna *really* hurt us', as opposed to 'Shit, here comes some guy who can bend steel, is impervious to bullets, has heat vision, and wants to kick our asses'.
I went absolutely INSANE when I saw the Boys in regular clothes. Both are hot, hot, hot, hot together just STANDING there and when they banter and flirting with each other. It's... irresistible. :)
Oh, Arthur. Arthur my dear. I love Arthur. Is like he makes up for the stupid years of his past with awesome snark! He's also being a total manwhore, I know it. Flirting with Bruce (I call that flirting!) and havig one-on-ones with J'onn...
And Bruce and Clark's conversation is awesome. Sure thing, Bruce. If you say so. Silly, silly Bruce, and yum, shades on Clark! Civilian clothing is awesome!
God, yeah, V--that panel there is scary. He looks like the Punisher--an invulnerable, super-strong Punisher with heat vision and a cute curl. I'd wet myself if I were a criminal.
All right, that conversation between Clark and Bruce? *hugs you to death for posting these*
Bruce brings out the best conversations to the table, also I love the fact that he snarks with Clark instead of just being "Grrrrr I am Batman and I don't socialize"
Oh and yes Clark they may wreak havoc with cholesterol but Chicharones are just soooooooo good! Especially with some lemon and hot sauce on it.
The 'Watch it--' one kills me. I want to see what happens if Bruce doesn't stop snarking! Do they brawl? do they make out? what? what happens??
Clark out of costume is made of hotness. Pure, pure hotness.
And I find an illegal amount of joy in Bruce being so happy about Clark being his 'lab partner' of sorts. Clark should take notes! that's how Terrific and Batman got all close and cuddley, through geekery!
THAT'S who he reminds me of! If it wasn't for his Clark-esque curl, I don't think I would have recognized him. But the black T-shirt is like guzzah ...Bruce must be rubbing off on him. ;D
Mina! You just gave the countersign!?! Now you are truly a secret sekrit agent!
Oh and spreading hunger across the globe.
And Clark in dark shades and a black shirt? You know Bruce picked that outfit for him... and then made them go undercover so only he could leeroogle observe him in it.
It's not all that often that someone's more scary because they don't have a gun.
There's something I really like about Bruce's little comment about the real halves; that Clark can get a kick out of disagreeing with one of Batman's observations. :D
Yummy yum yum! Yes, Clark is *totally* cool in the shades! :) And, yes, Bruce dressed him in all black. LOL! I do love Bruce's little smile at Arthur in the next-to-last panel. Of course the lab bantering is fun. And Bruce thinks Superman is the real man and Clark the disguise? How very Silver Age of him! :) I know there's the whole Kal/Clark/Superman thing going on with the Big Red 'S' but I kinda lean toward Clark being the 'real' one and Superman as his career, kinda like an actor's public persona. Though a mix of both is logical. How's that for fence-sitting? :)

on 2007-01-15 09:53 pm (UTC)I've been waiting to see this - Clark, being more or less the perfect forensic lab is *the* perfect partner-in-crime for Bruce's detective side.
I have to read this.
