I've been looking forward to this book for a while. (My post in the other journal about it, which, oddly enough, was also the pre-cursor to me writing fanfic.)

I wasn't disappointed. At all. It's like... the best book I've bought in a long time.

I cried at the end. Hits a little close to home.

Superman/Batman #26: Superboy & Robin. Go buy it, if you have a soul.

God... Jim Lee's work always takes my breath away. It's so beautiful...

I'm getting the comic tomorrow asap, hands down.

He's not the only artist on the book... which is one of the great things. You'll see the list of authors/artists involved in the project on the front cover, "The 26".

This book is wonderful because it's good, and it's wonderful because it's a monument created out of love.

I'm teary-eyed again.

I know. I wrote about it in my own journal yesterday. (http://cmer.livejournal.com/325858.html)

I cried too. I've lost a couple of people recently to cancer, and another member of my family is terminally ill.

I loved this book *so* *MUCH*.

That's one of my favorite pages you have there.

I bought and read that too. I cried too. It may have been the best comic I have ever purchased.
