The Flash #241...

...turned me into an even bigger pervert than before.
Impossible, you say? Well, keep this in mind...

Yes; Iris had some instant aging kick in, so, zero to boobs and curvy hips in 30 seconds. And she's a speedster now. With flowy red hair as she kicked the shit out of Grodd with Jai (and a final punch from Dad.)
Wally is understandably very concerned about that; his daughter losing more years of her life like that. But he keeps his chin up and tries to be a proud Daddy in her moment of reaching something resembling adulthood. Then...

...and then she ages even more. Very bad? Yes. Is she still only three months old? Yes.
But damn that girl be fly.
The other issue of the issue is what Wally did to Inertia; which I continue to have mixed feelings about, but I'm mostly on Wally's side of it. Thaddeus was given ample opportunity to be a good person, and yet, still mixed up with Slade and conspired to kill his "brother" and that's just wrong. And somehow I don't think he's going to be in that time-freeze much longer.
Definitely had a weird mix of reactions to this issue.

on 2008-06-19 10:35 pm (UTC)Still, she's pretty hot for a three-month old.

on 2008-06-19 10:43 pm (UTC)Honestly, I think that nifty collar and the coverage only helps her case for hotness... there's something to be said for leaving stuff to the imagination, especially when Flash uniforms are only a little better than body paint.

on 2008-06-19 10:44 pm (UTC)You know what would really be dark? If DC actually decided to let them age so much that they DO die.
I wasn't clear on what Wally did to Inertia. What happened?

on 2008-06-19 11:12 pm (UTC)You know how Wally can steal velocity from stuff? He stole all of Inertia's velocity, so it would take him hundreds of years to blink and effectively freezing him as a statue that can still think. Harsh. He tells Iris about it in that All-Flash issue that came out before Wally's series re-started.

on 2008-06-20 08:29 pm (UTC)Actually, it'd be kind of cool if after they do fix the twins, they are normally a young age, but can age themselves up to adulthood and get fast like Iris there temporarily. "Oh no Iris, Dad needs help!" "Super-speed help!" "Flash Twin Powers, Activate!"
