Yeah, it's a dream sequence. Under evil influence. Yet more awesome in a made-of-awesome storyarc that has given her a fabulous wardrobe.

I question some of her choices for decor... but not all. But, of course... she's not the sort of woman you question often, now, is she?



I love her when she's scary.

I'm all about this recent storyarc. Diana has been getting too much of the short end of the stupid stick recently. ::coughTrinityahem::

This arc is just littered with most excellent outfits; she had this "Wonder Woman meets Norse warrior woman" thing going on that was so win.

Of the harem, though... yeah, that's it. Unfortunately. XD

I don't believe I've ever seen it in fic! There's surprisingly little love for Diana in fandom--I chalk some of it up to women feeling like we're required to like her as, you know, #1 Female Superhero and so on and so on. Also, I suspect S/B shippers tend to resent her for horning in on the OTP in either direction, depending on the continuity. :) But I know I would love to see that dream sequence played out a bit more in detail, lol...

I always feel a little intimidated by her... like I'd be deserving of the special Hell if I did her a disservice.

Actually, my brain has been deluged with ideas to play around with... maybe I'll risk it... if I ever get to writing more than a few paragraphs of fic at a time, anyway. Getting there... and it just seems like it needs to exist now. :D

Actually, Gail Simone, the writer of this, said that she posted a wishlist of "suitors" (and villains) for Diana, including both men and women - Io (http://en.dcdatabaseproject.com/Io_II_(New_Earth)) was the one she specifically mentioned. Sadly, not all the suitors managed to fit in due to space reasons. :(

But Gail promised in s_d that the moment she can write Io back into the story, she will not be forgetting that Io has the hots for Diana... :D

Not everyone might consider it unfortunate.

Seeing such a woman lie down with a man would be like seeing the coolest dog in the world do the coolest dog tricks in the world, then, in the midst of well deserved praise, walk over to the litter box and eat a side order of cat turds.

All that lovely filet de femme warm & waiting, and she wants a cheap wiener? Someone shake her and say "Don't you know what that crap is made of!?!"
