I couldn't resist sharing this bit, from the recent The Brave & The Bold #17, cuz. It's chicks for once, instead of the usual gay that fills this little piece of the Internets. I've recently been asked why a total lesbo is writing tons of guys getting it on a lot, and still? No real answer. So, ladies.



And what ladies. I do have to protest Raven's "civilian" get-up from the issue, though.



The goth thing is fine, but this is just absurdity. I dunno about you, but in my head, Raven does not equal Slutbag. I get that T&A need to be shown off, but give me a break. She looks like she just got off working a street corner.

That is so not Raven. There are about a billion more tasteful "goth" outfits they could have put her in, if that was the issue. Sadly, however it's not. The issue is flashing naughty bits. :\

Honestly, I giggled at the blatant femmeslash allusion, but the outfit is just atrocious. What happened to modest Raven? The one who wanted to fit in. That outfit does anything but make her blend in.

It sorta reminds me of this friend of mine, who whenever its Halloween or fancy dress suggests we do something slutty. So far she's tried to make us slutty vampires, slutty dalmatians (Don't ask) and God I hope she hasn't seen this post because we'll all be slutty goths. I love the girl to pieces but whenever its fancy dress time she gets it into her head that we'll look fab. ... XD

On the plus side if we do a Superhero theme I can always be slutty Raven? xD

Last Halloween I went as Zatanna.
My friend said oooh slutty Magician.
I wasn't impressed. But then she is never impressed by my DC geekyness. I got the 'comics again' look. XD

I must admit, in the second panel it looks like everyone is shocked not because of the flight but because they can see right up Supergirl's skirt.

Seriously, how can it *ever* be modest to wear a skirt when you *hover all day long?* Those Kryptonians and their wacky ways...
