Yesterday, I got a package, and what is inside? A picture of Sulu and a TPB of Star Trek: The Mirror Universe Saga. To add awesome on top of this awesome? George Takei signed the comic cover. :D :D

...I'm so jealous heh. I adore George. I like him so much that I'm going to put myself through the shitness of reality TV. I don't know if you've heard of the British programme, I'm a Celebrity Get me Out of Here? It's nobodies thrown into a jungle and they have to survive. But George is appearing this year so I'm going to be hooked. It's surprising they got someone so decent for the show actually. oo

Its all Star Trek stuff at the moment for me. George is going to appear on British TV and I had a lecture on slash fiction, surreal but very funny and it was mainly based around Star Trek stuff.

Why thank you. I'll try not to stay away so much, and I actually have like, fic almost ready to post and stuff, so yeah. XD

I've never heard of that show, but, it sounds like something I'd watch for giggles, hehe. Especially if he's on it, woo! That's friggin' great.

I've always loved Star Trek, but, it's only recently I've read more than a small handful of fanfics of it. It all started with wanting to read some vintage slash and sorta went from there... a lecture on it sounds like a good time. :D

It is very silly. I'll try and get you some links for You Tube. Basically they have a camp in the jungle and to earn meals they have to do trials. The trials are always disgusting and horrible like eating bugs or crawling through yucky stuff. Really excited to see George though. nn

I'm doing an English degree with Creative Writing but one of my modules is about culture. And my professor is interested in Slash and why so many women write it. It's all very interesting but she showed us some fab fan-art although I think most of the straight guys were grossed out.

Hehe you're so welcome. :D George Takei was really sweet in person, too. He said he hadn't seen that comic before, and when he looked at the cover, he was like "Oh! There I am!" It was adorable. :)

Also, sorry I haven't been online in a few days, but my sister's computer has been all retarded when trying to do more than 2 or 3 things at once, so I'm trying to keep it from freezing up. I'm getting interwebs hooked up in my room tomorrow, though, so I shooould be on then, and hopefully with head measurements, since I found a ruler. <3
