I sat in a coffee shop in Keene all afternoon writing, and the last chapter happened. On the walk back just now, I realized maybe a few little bits of clarification might be good for some.
The Anti-Life Equation is the one thing Darkseid wants; as illustrated in Destroyer, the last episode of JLU. It's a rather ill-defined thing, but you can see it in the dystopian scans I posted here from Rock of Ages. It's a mysterious thing that basically takes away free will if you have the tech to use it.
The goldish metal is kinda based on a brainstorm with my pal Fink about the nature of Silly Putty molecules and the material that's been made in labs a few years back, programmable atoms. Cool shit.
Yeah. I finally know what's going on. Go me.
Oh yeah, and
