I'm feeling a lot better. Thanks guys. :)

I sat in a coffee shop in Keene all afternoon writing, and the last chapter happened. On the walk back just now, I realized maybe a few little bits of clarification might be good for some.

The Anti-Life Equation is the one thing Darkseid wants; as illustrated in Destroyer, the last episode of JLU. It's a rather ill-defined thing, but you can see it in the dystopian scans I posted here from Rock of Ages. It's a mysterious thing that basically takes away free will if you have the tech to use it.

The goldish metal is kinda based on a brainstorm with my pal Fink about the nature of Silly Putty molecules and the material that's been made in labs a few years back, programmable atoms. Cool shit.

Yeah. I finally know what's going on. Go me.

Oh yeah, and [livejournal.com profile] scarab_dynasty drew this from a scene with Bart & Bruce in Part Twenty-Four. And it was good. :D
