First, two bits of fanart that I ran across, and liked:

Redesigned Supes fanart. You're going to see this guy again; part of the plot unfolding in my head for the future is just that; the future. A dystopian future, because I'm like, obsessed with those. I can't say any more; just that I'm going to have way too much fun redesigning our heroes.

Tim reading a book to Bart

Oh yeah, and... "So like... am I the only member of the JLA you haven't slept with?

So, for those of you who don't follow Flash comics, you still might have heard about this kid named Owen Harkness; most often recognized as Captain Boomerang's son from Identity Crisis. Owen's story didn't end with that, oh no siree bob. He trained himself to throw boomerangs with incredible accuracy, and after his father's death, was adopted by the Rogues as the new Captain Boomerang. The kicker; his mother is Meloni Thawne. (Flash genealogy is kinda like a a tree choking itself to death.) That's right kids; he's Bart's half-brother, and has limited super-speed.

So what do we learn from this?

A speedster who learns to throw projectiles with accuracy is one of the most dangerous mofos you can imagine. Where is this leading? I keep getting this image of Wally throwing batarangs faster than the speed of sound. And I wanted to share how unbearably cool that is to think about, haha. Yeah. Tangent.

I love Flash comics I guess is my ultimate point here.

From The Flash #158; I remembered that Wally has, in fact, worn Zoom's costume as part of a ruse.

And incidentally, I add... also from The Flash #217, the one where Bruce visits Keystone...

Just for the sake of comparison... This is what Wally's parents are really like. Totally freakin' nuts.

So I was rewatching Secret Society, specifically the part where they're all separated, and Wally's trying to interrogate that guy. If you're reading the fic, you may recall that almost that exact scene is how Possession opens. (It is, incidentally, the most popular chapter on JLA Universe past the first three. Gee, I wonder why, haha.)

I'd totally forgotten about it. So either I've got subconscious inspiration going on like mad... or I'm getting these guys right. I'd like to think it's getting them right. And it makes me feel like awesome.
