Just for the sake of comparison... This is what Wally's parents are really like. Totally freakin' nuts.

So I was rewatching Secret Society, specifically the part where they're all separated, and Wally's trying to interrogate that guy. If you're reading the fic, you may recall that almost that exact scene is how Possession opens. (It is, incidentally, the most popular chapter on JLA Universe past the first three. Gee, I wonder why, haha.)

I'd totally forgotten about it. So either I've got subconscious inspiration going on like mad... or I'm getting these guys right. I'd like to think it's getting them right. And it makes me feel like awesome.

There's a mention of his mom during Flash & Substance, with no details. That's all we know. I had to make it all up.

Ah I see. The series never gave us much info on his or John's history. I mean, how'd he become the Green Lantern? Who died so he could get the ring? What was his life like besides being a Marine?

Anyway, where was she mentioned? I only remember him talking about his uncle attending Flash Memorial Day.
