JLA Picspam!
Jul. 21st, 2006 08:48 pmMy imagehost has been wonky, and this is a bigass post, so I'm going to put it here as opposed to one of the communities. Because I still want to share.
JLA Annual #1, 1997, Lockdown, written by Brian Augustyn, drawn by Gene Ha.
It's pretty. And presents the JLA with an interesting situation; they have to stop a bomb being held by bad guys, without their powers. Batman shows them what's up. And saves Wally from plummeting to his doom, which is always nice.
It's also proof-positive that Conner should have stayed in the JLA. But don't ask me what's up with the telepaths. I don't have a clue.
The art kinda reminds me of the arc from Gotham Knights: Pushback, and I really like how they draw this version of Superman. Sometimes that costume looks really stupid, but here, I really like it.

( Warning: 32 scans ahead )
