Gotham Underground
Dec. 4th, 2007 01:57 pmI at least look in on a new Bat book, you know. Gotham Underground is a 9 book series tied into the Countdown nonsense with the Suicide Squad giving Gotham villains all kinds of Hell. So far it's meh, right?
Until I tell you that Matches Malone is working for the Penguin. :D
The art is nice. And I refuse to tell you what's going on in my head when I see that panel there. Ha. The whole thing is "Oh brother!" mixed in with "Hee!" and I think at least worth a look.
( What does one have to do to get a decent drink around here? )
And then Bane hits Matches on the head, ooh suspense. ::shrug::
I'd think that something like Alfred and Nightwing hanging out in a bar full of thugs might be, oh, I dunno... a bad idea? "Hey, I know that butler!" right? Anyway.
It doesn't completely suck, and that's something.
