Metron's 5th World Prophecy
Dec. 7th, 2007 07:20 pmI wanted to check out references to this whole 5th World thing; I went through Morrison's run of JLA with an eye for that (among other things.) I remembered Metron having said something about it... and that's exactly what I found.

Metron comes back to Earth for World War III. He's seen here in #38 giving Barbara (currently a member of the League as Oracle) a Mother Box to fight off the impending doom, while revealing he's freelancing to help Earth survive to it's destiny.

It all strikes me as saying this process is going to happen after humanity itself evolves more; like, thousands of years in the future.
But, there you are.
ETA: Sometime completely unrelated caught my attention in this post.
That's a lot of very tight costumes. And Batman's the one to catch the text bubble. Heh.
