shankieGoshdarn it'll never end! Well, yes it will. I'm confidant this story's conclusion will only take a few more chapters. I'm on page 397. I sure hope so.
And I get to use Glorious Godfrey soon! Hee! John Byrne's Superman was the first one I ever read, so his campaign against superheroes was my first introduction to the idea of them being bad, having bad press, or people other than Darkseid from Apokolips in general.
Even though he's a bastard, I thought he got slighted in the episode Eclipsed; the comic book version was far more wily and cunning than that. So that's the way I'm going to write him. Heh.
Also, sorry about my updates being all spaced-out now. I keep quadruple-thinking myself on every little detail and I really must just start going with things again.
And to those of you being roped in from a certain other pairing... um. I'm sorry that Clark's written like the animated one, who's not the same as the comic one. I don't much like JLU Superman most of the time, and it kinda shows. Just pretend he's from an alternate reality or something, haha. I mean, he's not like, bad, and I'd like to think I gave him a couple good moments... but he's not handling his repressed jealousy very well. That's all.
