Flash #217: Bruce visits Keystone

teh_no reminded me I haven't put this up yet.

Just after Tim Drake's father is murdered by Captain Boomerang, Bruce visits Wally at work to talk about it. In angsty Batman fashion, of course, this being the time period it was, but nevertheless...

Even without reading into this with Bruce/Wally goggles, one thing has to be admitted; Wally understands Bruce, and perhaps the entire Bat-family, better than Bruce himself does.

(The mistake that Wally made was forgetting a component to Ashley Zolomon's brakes when he repaired them, resulting in a near-fatal car crash. Because she's Zoom's wife, it was thought he was out for some kind of revenge for Zoom's attack on Linda; but it was just a mistake.)

Annoyed me too. It's bad enough Bats turning up and speaking to his secret identity as though they obviously know each other.

"So uh Wally, you hang out with superheroes often?"
"Oh! Nah. He was, er, asking me about, um, a, er, car. Thing. Car with a thing. My, look at the time."
