Yay I have more JLA comics! ::bounces everywhere::

And that means I can share one of my favourite exchanges sitting on the bookshelf; from JLA: A League of One, Bruce & Wally go on a mission to stop Poison Ivy, and unbenowst to them, Diana is taking down the League one by one to stop their deaths as predicted by the Oracle at Delphi.

The whole thing is prolly my favourite exchange between the two in comics.

A lot of that has to do with the pretty.

The moral of the story is; touch Wally, and Batman will threaten to do horrible things to small children.

ROFL. Oh, man. This is so pretty, but Diana kicking Wally in the face like that cracks me up. And the moral.. oh, god. Batman is mean to wood children!

I have this and I had to read it like a million times so I could get the story - I was too distracted by the pretty. :p

Your moral was the best part. Well, that and the Hyancinths. Heh.

The artwork in this is *so* damn pretty, too.

Excellent story, and a very nice, very true moral. But that panel, the one with Wally on his hands and knees, is my favorite. Except for the creepy wood-child looming.

And, Agent Orange? A-buh? Damn, Batman. I applaud you.

"Diana, you won't believe it!"

"ORLY?" ::facekick::

He's so confused... on his hands and knees. Which is a very adjective-ridden place for him to be.

God, yes. So many pretty things to be said. But. Who is the artist? I feel the need to go shopping.

Written & illustrated by Christopher Moeller, who has my profound respects for that.

I bought this book when I really didn't have the money to and have yet to regret it.

Well, it's a book, so there's a lot to it. But I could take some more excerpts from it...

While Wally's doing his thing Bats looks like he's snapping pics.

Gahh...these huge graphics links are making my internet connection groan from the strain...
But it is SO WORTH THE WAIT!
Pretties, indeed. I only wish there was more to this. How did it end? Was Wally okay? Did Bats smack the lipstick right off'a Diana for hurting his Wally? Did that evil little so-and-so become compost?

Did Wally properly thank Bats for saving him from being carried away to who knows where and for Lord knows what purpose by a drop-dead gorgeous Amazon? (There, that should work for both slash and non-slash fans.) lol

Sigh. I need fanfic to go with this stuff. Seriously.
