Because I'm feeding the Clark/Scott dynamic here.

The cover alone is priceless.

This issue begins, as any decent comic book should, with half-naked Barda. But it's soon made clear that it's not her, but the sudden pull Scott has towards Clark, on the subject of magnetism.

Scott's expression in that last one? Priceless. This suffers from... um... being a Superman comic in the mid-90's a bit with the dialogue. But that's okay.

Okay. Now we've gotten to the real point of this comic, eh?

::giggles:: Yeah, it's something like that.

Of course they're being dropped into a volcano. Any time Scott is in a comic, it all turns into high-risk bondage. What, don't believe me? Example: JLA: World War III; Scott and Barda are doing their thing helping the League, and not two pages after they leave, Clark in chains. The whole Mageddon deal. It's a fact.

Okay, well, maybe not always. But it's about half the time.

The bondage! It's powerful! If only they didn't have that 90's writing! It's...terribly distracting!
