Cool. In the meantime, if you don't mind, I have a few ideas for what to draw for each chapter. I just want to run them by you before getting started on them. That way we're sure you'll like them.
This was my idea for chapter one: an image of Wally in the foreground looking at us sweatdropping and saying, 'this isn't right.' meanwhile, there is a chibi-fied (ridicously cartoony looking) Batman smiling; having jumped out of his minature bat-mobile on top of Wally's table; the words 'tadaa!' around him somewhere...
Ah good, glad you approve. Here are my ideas for a few more chapters:
Chapter 2- Wally is pale and asleep; Bruce is holding his hand, with his other hand on top of Wally's forehead, concern and fear written all over his face (he had recently been poisened by Joker in this chapter) Chapter 3- a chibi Wally eating away and praising a chibi Alfred as he washes dishes calmly Chapter 4- Bruce bored at his office (couldn't think of anything else for this chapter) Chapter 5- flashback scene, we see Batman from behind carrying Flash to the medical bay
Feel free to give any suggestions, (like for chapter 4), or critique.
I'd like to see Bruce & Clark in the background of Chapter Three in a typical standoff thing. I love them looking all confrontational. With lasers!
And the audience in Chapter Five, all standoffish and hugging the walls.
Oh, and picture thought bubble while Bruce is in the office, "I'd rather be grappling out the window!" While the intercom's speech text is something like "Blah blah blah..."
Okay, prepare for these long ones (some are quoted fr/your fic):
Chapter 6- (this image will be like a collage of two photos) photograph 1 is of Flash sitting cross-legged in the grass in a circle of underprivileged middle-school children; he has a kid's book in his lap and a mischievous grin on his face as he uses his hands to emphasize some point of action as he reads to them; photograph 2- Wally at Casa Soria, sitting at one of the unshaded tables, with his hands folded behind his head, leaning back in the chair and lifting his face to the sunshine; his red hair lit like a fire and reflected brilliantly in his green eyes (perhaps we should put Bruce's hand holding these pics?)
Chapter 7- Wally in his evil costume- clad in black like a second skin, with white mask lenses and a pair of white lighting bolts sewn into the arms of the suit the only contrast against the black, bent low with fingers brushing the concrete surface next to his feet (any more details on the evil suit would be helpful)
Chapter 8- naked Wally laying in his bed (we don't see that he's naked, just that he isn't wearing a shirt) on his stomach at the watch tower; with a thought bubble above him with a chibi demonic angel version of Batman; leaving our speedster with an odd expression on his face
Chapter 9- gonna try and see if I can do a .gif of this one, draw Flash listening to John as he says, 'Well, you do look good in a skirt, Wally.' next image he bangs his head on the table, leaving it there, and says, 'I hate you so much right now.' ; another image, a collage of all the things Wally has to go through with crossdressing- wearing the undergarments and satin undershirt, he imagines a chibi-fied Bruce giggling mischeviously in a thought bubble; Alfred swaying his hips in order to demonstrate the proper way to walk, Wally sweatdrops; another thought bubble of Bats staring at Flash stunned when he brings up that he gets pedicures and manicures; Wally dancing about in red nail polish and ladies underwear as Bruce walks in staring blankly; Wally gasping in agony as Bruce continues to pull the corset (his eyes practically popping out); Wally imagines the Robin's crossdressing and Bats laughing at them; center of the collage, Wally fully dressed as a woman
Chapter 10- side profile of Bruce and Wally (Angie) finishing their kiss, Bruce confused and concerned, b/c Wally has tears falling down his face, but he's smiling (eye liner is going down his face basically); Wally's got his leg wrapped around Bruce's, and arms wrapped around his neck, while Bruce has one arm around his waist, and another in his hair
If any of these are inaccurate, please tell me. Or if you'd think some things need to be taken out, or added in, just say so. I aim to please!
How about for Nine, Wally in undies holding up the skirt with a look of deep suspicion, with thought bubbles of all the other stuff surrounding him?
The evil costume's really simple; just as it's described. No symbols on it besides the white bolts on the arms (much like his regular costume) and white wings on the cowl. Can add to it if it looks funny or something.
And speaking of dark costumes for Wally, for a guise for him in a black costume of his choosing, what sounds the coolest?
Quickshadow sounded pretty cool, and you're sure everything else I suggested was all right? Anyway, here are my last bit of notes. I obviously need to come up with more though.
Chapter 11- Wally sleeping on top of Bruce's bed, wearing sweatpants and a sweater that reads, 'Property of Wayne Enterprises,' he's curled up like a cat
Chapter 12- Wally laying down on his side, wearing a pair of wrinkled jeans, an off-white t-shirt, hair disheveled, pretty much blind, left hand broken, skinny, and miserable
Chapter 13- At a cheap card-table in the center of the room, The Joker, Lex Luthor, The Scarecrow, and Diana sit facing each other, motionless, with dead eyes and their arms hanging at their sides
Chapter 14- (came up w/two ideas for this one) Batman, w/o gauntlets, kneeling in b/w Wally's legs, arms wrapped around his waist, his head resting on the redheads shoulder; Wally meanwhile is crying/sobbing and has his arms wrapped around Bat's neck; other image, (which is happier), of Bats raiding his fridge for Wally (possibly chibi-fy it)
Chapter 15- the original drawing I was going to do, Batman holding onto Wally's waist as they swing through the air onto a tall building; Wally is smiling (still blind though, so he's looking off somewhere)
Chapter 16- Bruce washing Wally's hair; Wally has his back facing Bruce for this, and has a gentle smile
Go for the happy one in Fourteen... the sad image is great, but there's a whole lot of that already...
And in Twelve, he isn't blind yet; have him like that, only writing, mebbe?
And in Thirteen, have our guy Brannock there, maybe Bruce, too. Brannock would look a lot like Christian Bale in American Psycho, at least that's how I picture him.
Quickshadow, huh? Kay. Superhero names are harder to come up with than I thought... Or maybe just Shadow? Hm.
Notes have been modified. Now, do you have any ideas for the other chapters before I go over them and come up with some more on my own?
And I don't think shadow by itself would work. Though Quickshadow is a long name. You mentioned Jaguar before, but I think he's more like a panther. Panthera? No wait, that's girly sounding...
Well, I was thinking "Shadow" now because it's the name of a superhero who dosen't actually exist, if you know what I mean. And he's going to be working with the Batfamily in it, and you know how much they hate to be visibly involved with a meta...
Okay, that's cool. At least it ain't Quickdraw. Hehehe. I just figured since he kinda purrs like a cat, and Bruce is always describing him as such, he'd name him something along that of a feline.
Then again, Shadow could be the name Flash comes up with, but on the side, Bats keep calling him 'Kitty,' or something annoyingly endearing like that.
Yay!! *dances about* And now I definitely need to draw that Flash kitty. You see I was bored yesterday, and drew Supes and Bats as kitties, based off of Ghost Anime Kitties.

Dick: *yawns* Is it spring yet? Wachey: Stop watching Bambi! Dick: *smirks* What have you been upto while I was sleeping? Wachey: I actually did work! Went over notes with victoria, and I'm drawing!! *all proud like a little kid* Dick: Aw, I'm so proud! *hugs Wach*
