Why Justice League Elite is Awesome

First, from JLA Secret Files & Origins from 2004, a story about Wally working with both teams. And that, sometimes, that was a tall order.

I do so love the flirting with Vera. And the black costume. And the art with those art shifts, very cool.

























I'd be a dirty liar if I said none of this inspired me. Covert Wally is just so damned cool. Seriously. And being two places at once? That's some trick.





And, some of my favourite scenes from various issues from the rest of Justice League Elite #5-#12.

Cassandra gets some love, I like comic book John Stewart for once, Wally demonstrates his little anger management problem by snarling at Bruce, and a few others.



















I miss Cassandra. ::sigh::

I'm holding out for whatever the deal is with her and Titans East... even if there's a good chance she's still evil... But I can handle evil if they give me a good sell... maybe not so much in this case, but we'll see.

how did the JLElite series end? Or, more accurately, WHY? And why does the wikipage on Vera contain so little, with no pictures either?

She was mostly just around for this series, a 12-issue mini, and the launching point issue of the series, JLA #100 (http://victoria-wayne.livejournal.com/59754.html).

It ended with the Elite disbanding, all except Naif and Vera, who are seen at the very end going off to continue their "great experiment". So she's still somewhere, and presumably the Elite still exist, they just haven't been on-panel since the series ended. That I know of.

Yes; yes he did. He's great in JLA, but it was like, the writers didn't know what to do with him most of the time.

The levels of ass-kickery in this? Astronomical. XD
