Fiendish Thingees

shankieI'm writing this absurdly JLI bit for A Lifting Fog; and this is to blame, mostly.
Firstly, Scott and Ted in Justice League International #10. They're constantly bickering and insulting each other, even though it's pretty obvious they get along. Scott spends a lot of time riding shotgun while Beetle drives the League around. Let it never be said that Scott can't make a Star Trek joke. XD

And that, from #11. Oh Scott.
Thirteen issues after that spaceship incident with Kilowog, Beetle and Scott are still bickering about it. Le sigh. Also, Scott and Guy insult each other (trend much?) and J'onn laughs! Not at them. But he's so cute when he laughs, so that's fine. I think I can understand his frustrations.
You know what the really scary thing about Guy is? I think if the two of us hung out, we'd get along really well. Heh.

on 2006-11-18 07:19 pm (UTC)And honest, Guy can't be that bad. He's obnoxious and annoying and an ass, but he's not all bad. And truth to be told, if I was offered a day with any JL, any roster from any time, I would pick the JLI without a second thought. I mean, these guys are actually fun and you know, don't have sticks up their asses. I'm thinking J'onn and Batman had the most amusing conversations in the cafeteria/kitchen thing, and everyone sure lived up to their XY genes and did stupid bets and stupider feats. You can't tell me Superheroes don't do that kind of stuff.
