So, from Justice League of America 80-Page Giant #1 that's come out so recently, I was delighted to find not only time-travel hijinks with our heroes, but... Steel and Wonder Woman ending up in the most fabulous of time and space locales; a pirate ship back in the day. Like something straight out of my fic, Diana is a pirate captain aiding the downtrodden and accidentally winding up chained up in the hold happens. It starts with an angry John Irons in irons and yes, that made me laugh, because I'm silly.

The art has some iffy moments, but we can only get to those if we continue...

Now I'm real curious as to who that guy is. Why did he float off on wreckage? Did Diana's running straight for a fight with Starro get all her other crewmembers killed? Why isn't this addressed? Gah.

Uh, yeah, so, definitely not the best art or story going on in this issue, but it's relevant to my interests, so there you go.

Mostly for [livejournal.com profile] mayoroftardtown because without her, I would have just left this in my slaveboy-Wally-porn notebook. It's set maybe over a year or so before The Pirates of Vengeance.

The Intentions of Captain Scott

DC AU, Alan Scott/Wally West, rated Mature for explicit sexual activity, language, and a little violence entirely unrelated to the sex.
A little over 3.5K words.

Wally captures the attention of one Captain Scott during a night out in Happy Harbour.

Also out today... so yeah, spoilers everywhere, donchaknow.

Well, this story arc has a lot of promise! Except for the Smallville references. Could do without those. Anyway...

This is the point of this post:

That sound you hear in the background is me laughing myself sick.

Oh man. But, there's also a great slash value to tap into. Onward to that! And Wally appearing in the slash-fest! Woo!

Bruce pretty much admitting that Clark gets him all wound up? Yeah.

This book's title really does mean something, doesn't it?

Because my last post was totally lacking in a good time... selected panels from the four-shot series of awesomeness, the manga Pirates Versus Ninjas.

Manga? For realz? Yeah. I read it sometimes. And by sometimes, I mean, almost never.

How great is that action? Word is they're doing the sequel this month. I've got it on the sublist, you better believe.

Now, because they're great too, two scans from Batman: The Greatest Stories Ever Told, Vol. 2

And now, a scan totally for Jen. hehehe.

But yeah, like, I'm alive, still.

My roommate that sucks got evicted, my car runs again, and I am once again entangled in romantic intrigues way over my head and still don't manage to get laid. What's up with that?

So, I have decided to put this up. I think it's a little disturbing, because of it's tone and content; Wally uses no contractions, and it makes his writing almost childlike. I don't know why he doesn't use contractions, that's just how he writes. He also wants anyone that does read it to know that it makes him sound very angry all the time, but that he's not really. And he doesn't hate Mister Gardner anymore because he got to kick his ass since then.

The entries start at the first page of his book, which isn't actually an entry, cuts off a little while after he was allowed to speak again, then picks back up again the day Clark joins Vengeance and ends just after the events of "Again Aboard The Sword of Athena" in the last installment.

The one part that makes me weepy is when he writes about the whore, strangely enough.

This not strictly a part of The Pirates of Vengeance, and if all the gritty details of Wally's enslavement aren't something you like reading, and I can hardly blame you, there's no real need to read this. But if you haven't read that first I can see how this might not make total sense.
