Barda: Bird of Prey?

So my Mister Miracle post had someone pointing me in the direction of the cover of Birds of Prey #100, from November solicits...





Does this mean the Kirby renaissance is going to put Barda as a member of the Birds of Prey? Does it? Maybe? Perhaps? That would be totally sweet.

Also, I didn't get a copy of The Flash: Fastest Man Alive #3 yet, because when I picked up my sub list at the comic shop, they didn't get it, and didn't mention it, so it slipped my mind. Apparently I'm the only person with it on their sub list there. Weird.

And the other store was closed before 5, as I realized this at 4:30p today and went out for it, no dice. ::sigh::

Probably not - she's extremely overpowered compared to every member of the BoP (with the possible exception of Oracle). My money's on either Speedy/Mia or someone not on the cover.

And I want the Black Canary to stay with the Birds! The JLA don't deserve her - and she should be street level.

The Dinah/Babs chemistry was really what made a lot of the series... so yeah.

I just hope they know what they're doing, heh.

It's DC. Thse are the people who kileld superboy (by exploding a tower that already wasn't going to be of any imemdiate risk because the "battery people" had been removed. Have an editor who considered killing nightwing, turned cassandra cain into an assassin again, depowered superman etc etc.

You'd better goddamn hope this is the one time in a thousand in which they know what they're doing :(

They need to add Stargirl, Spoiler, and Manhunter to BoP. The first one for kicks, the second one because it's a crying shame, and the last one because her comic book needs to be saved, FAST.

I know this is a silly quibble but OMG cover artists, is it bad enough you all can't setle on how Babs wears her hair, but can you PLEASE just Google wheelchairs for like thirty seconds and not draw them in such sucky ways?

Babs does not drive a chair recently stolen from a hospital; it should fit her, not be a foot too wide; and it should have a cushion. And NO handles, while we're at it. And no arms. Just use a picture of a racing model, okay?

And no self-respecting gimp, much less Babs, would be caught DEAD in white Velcro tennies. Trust me. We really do try to dress ourselves, or at least look like we did, and not like the institution dresses us.

PS - pls try to remember to draw Hawkgirl's shirt on next time, too.

PPS - Also, Barda and the brunette on the right look exactly alike, and that's bad.
